What is psychology?

NDIS-funded psychologists provide therapy and assessment services to help participants manage their disability-related mental health and behavioural challenges. This can include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), trauma-informed care, social skills training, and capacity building to improve daily functioning. Psychology under the NDIS focuses on functional outcomes, not just clinical diagnosis.
