About me
I run ProviderScout as an independent NDIS provider directory. I am not an NDIS-registered provider, a support coordinator, or an allied health practitioner. My role is editorial: I gather, verify, structure and publish information about Australian NDIS providers — pulled from the NDIS provider databases, ABN Lookup, and provider websites — so that participants and support coordinators can search and compare without trawling individual provider sites one at a time.
Editorial standards
Where the data comes from
The provider list is initially seeded from public NDIS provider information and ABN Lookup data, then enriched with details scraped or transcribed from each provider's own public website (description, services offered, contact details, locations served). Where a provider has subsequently claimed their listing, the claimed information is treated as authoritative.
The "Understanding {service} under the NDIS" content blocks on profile pages are written by me, based on the 2025-26 NDIS Pricing Arrangements and the published frameworks of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. They are general consumer information about each service category, not endorsements of any specific provider.
What this site does not do
- It does not endorse, rate, or recommend any specific provider. Listings reflect the public NDIS data and the provider's own description.
- It does not collect referral fees from providers. Listings are free; the upgrade path (For Providers) is a flat-fee enhanced-listing model, never a per-lead arrangement.
- It does not provide clinical or NDIS-funding advice. Decisions about which services to engage and how to use plan funding should involve your NDIS plan, your support coordinator, and the relevant allied health professionals.
Updates and corrections
Provider information is refreshed periodically against the public NDIS data sources. Claimed listings are updated immediately by the provider through the claim flow. Service-category content blocks are reviewed against current NDIS Pricing Arrangements at each annual update (1 July each year) and at any out-of-cycle Pricing Arrangement change.

Funding and conflicts of interest
ProviderScout earns revenue from advertising (Google AdSense pending), enhanced listings purchased by providers themselves through a flat fee, and any future affiliate arrangements (which would be disclosed). There are no per-lead, per-call, or per-conversion arrangements with any provider. The site does not have any equity, payment, or referral arrangement with any specific provider.
Verifiable identity
The most direct way to verify the editorial identity behind this site is the email address above. A reply with a header to a specific corrections request is direct contact with the editor.
I do not maintain a public LinkedIn or other social profile. Email is the verification channel, and is the same channel that handles enquiries across the publisher network — ProviderScout is part of a network of consumer-information sites: DecisionLab (financial calculators), GPScout, DentistScout, SalaryThread, SortedAus, and VaccinationsForTravel. The Person schema on this page intentionally omits a sameAs field rather than linking a profile that does not exist.
Get in touch
Email is the best way to reach me — for corrections, suggestions, source-verification questions, claim updates, or feedback on a specific provider profile: hello@decisionlab.com.au. Replies usually within 2 business days.
