Plan management fees come from a separate budget line in your NDIS plan (a fixed $104.45/month under the 2026-27 NDIS Pricing Schedule; the setup fee was removed on 1 July 2025). They don't reduce your therapy or support-worker funding. Switching plan managers does not trigger a second setup fee — so the choice is worth getting right at the start.

Agency-managed participants can only use registered providers; this restricts choice in many service categories (notably support coordination, psychology, and occupational therapy in regional areas).
