Clean Concept
About Clean Concept
Clean Concept is a registered NDIS provider of home cleaning based in Mount Colah, in Sydney’s Hornsby Shire. It describes itself as a family-run cleaning business working across the North Shore and Northern Sydney. The legal entity is Australia Hygiene Services Proprietary Limited, an Australian private company (ABN 72 678 106 628) active since June 2024, which has held the business name Clean Concept since December 2024.
The NDIS Commission’s register records one registration group for this ABN, Household Tasks, with the registration in force until 7 September 2029 and no conditions recorded.
Its website says it works with self-managed and plan-managed participants, and that it does not service NDIA-managed (agency-managed) participants at this time. If the NDIA manages your plan, check with Clean Concept directly before you rely on this listing. Its contact page gives office hours of Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Services Clean Concept provides
- Kitchen cleaning
- Bathroom sanitisation
- Bedroom and living-area cleaning
- Dusting surfaces
- Vacuuming and mopping
- Laundry assistance
- Linen changing
- Rubbish removal
These are the tasks Clean Concept’s own website lists for NDIS participants, and all sit within Household Tasks, the one registration group the Commission holds for this ABN. Its website says visits can be weekly, fortnightly or monthly, and that a deep or spring clean is possible where your Core Supports budget allows. What is delivered depends on your plan and your service agreement, so confirm the scope directly.
What to ask before choosing a home-cleaning provider
Ask who will come to your home and whether it will be the same person each visit. Clean Concept says it aims to match each participant with a regular cleaner and to offer a replacement or a new time if that cleaner is away.
Ask what checks the cleaner has. Clean Concept’s website says its cleaners have a National Police Check and reference checks, receive training for working with NDIS participants, and are covered by public liability insurance. You can also ask whether the cleaner holds an NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
Get the hourly rate, the minimum visit length and the cancellation notice in writing before you sign a service agreement. Clean Concept’s website says it charges within the NDIS price limits for household tasks and that there are no hidden gap fees. For a registered provider, complaints can also go to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
NDIS supports in North Sydney
Mount Colah is in Hornsby Shire, in the North Sydney NDIS service district. On its listing request Clean Concept gave Hornsby as its location, with a service radius of about 30 kilometres, and its website describes its area as the North Shore and Northern Sydney.
Help with household tasks is usually funded from the Core Supports budget. Comparing a few providers is worth the time for a support delivered in your home, where reliability and the individual cleaner matter more than the size of the business.
