CLM Disability Support
About CLM Disability Support
CLM Disability Support is a Caboolture-based disability support service working with NDIS participants across Moreton Bay, Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. The business operates through CLM Disability Support Pty Ltd (ACN 702 202 579) as trustee for the GTR Family Trust, which holds ABN 32 906 198 247 — a discretionary trading trust active on the Australian Business Register since September 2026. That structure is the one printed in the footer of the business’s own website and confirmed to ProviderScout by its director, Cindy Pearce.
In the business’s own words, it began with Cindy Pearce’s work as an independent support worker and has since grown into a team of support workers, combining personal connections and flexible support with the reliability and consistency of a dedicated team. Its stated approach is to get to know each person, respect their choices and provide support that fits their life.
CLM Disability Support is not registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. The business says it is working towards registration, with the first stage of its audit due to begin in December 2026; that is the business’s own statement and not something ProviderScout has verified. Being unregistered does not prevent a provider from working with self-managed and plan-managed participants, but an NDIA-managed (agency-managed) participant generally cannot use an unregistered provider. Which category you fall into is the thing to check before booking.

Unregistered NDIS providers โ what that means for you
CLM Disability Support is not currently registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. It is honest to say so plainly, because for some participants it matters and for others it does not.
If your plan is self-managed or plan-managed, you can engage an unregistered provider for many everyday supports, provided the support is an NDIS support funded in your plan and purchased in line with your plan and the NDIS funding rules. There are supports that require Commission registration regardless of how your plan is managed, and the rules have been changing; the NDIS Commission’s own guidance on when registration is required is the right place to check, because the list changes over time and can carry transitional arrangements. If your plan is NDIA-managed, you generally need a registered provider to invoice the NDIA directly, so an unregistered support service is not usually an option at all.
Sort out the funding route before the first appointment, not after. The NDIS Code of Conduct applies to every NDIS provider, registered or not, and the Commission’s complaints process is open to anyone who wants to raise concerns about an unregistered provider’s conduct.
What to ask before choosing a support worker provider
Ask who your regular worker would be, how workers are matched to you, and what happens when that person is sick or on leave. For everyday supports, continuity with a worker who knows your routine matters more than the size of the organisation.
Ask for the hourly rates in writing, including evening, weekend and public holiday loadings, how travel time is charged, and what notice is needed to cancel a shift without being charged. A service agreement should set all of this out before the first visit.
If you are looking at employment support, ask what the worker would actually do with you week to week, and how progress towards your employment goal would be recorded for your plan review.
