OTs who work with specific age groups or disability types will have different skill sets, so it’s worth asking about a practitioner’s specialisation.

OT assessments and reports play a critical role in NDIS funding decisions. When your plan comes up for review, your OT’s functional assessment provides evidence for the level of support you need.
