These fees are drawn from a dedicated plan management budget in your plan and don’t reduce your other funding. If you switch plan managers mid-plan, the new provider can charge the setup fee again.

A reputable plan manager should process invoices within three to five business days and give you access to an online portal where you can see your remaining budget in real time.
