Murdoch Active Exercise Physiology Clinic
About Murdoch Active Exercise Physiology Clinic
The Murdoch Active Exercise Physiology Clinic is run by Murdoch University at its Perth campus, and is staffed by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. It works with NDIS participants alongside clients funded through Medicare, DVA and workers' compensation.
In their own words: “The Murdoch Active Exercise Physiology Clinic helps NDIS participants build strength, mobility, balance, confidence, and independence through personalised, evidence-based exercise programs.”
The clinic states it accepts self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. It is not registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, which does not prevent it from supporting participants funded either of those ways — but an NDIA-managed (agency-managed) participant generally cannot use an unregistered provider. Which category you fall into is the thing to check before booking.
The clinic is at Building 415 on the Perth campus, 90 South Street, and publishes its hours as 8am–10pm on weekdays and 9am–5pm on weekends. Some group programs have published per-class pricing.

Can you use an unregistered provider?
It depends on how your plan is managed, and it is worth checking before you book. Murdoch Active Exercise Physiology Clinic is not registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, and does not claim to be.
If your plan is self-managed or plan-managed, you can generally use an unregistered provider, and the clinic states it accepts participants funded both of those ways. If your plan is NDIA-managed (sometimes called agency-managed), you generally cannot — those funds can usually only pay registered providers.
Not being registered is not a mark against a provider. Many supports do not require registration at all, and plenty of good clinicians choose not to carry it. A handful of supports do require it — plan management, specialist disability accommodation and behaviour support among them — and exercise physiology is not one of those.
