3. “A variation condition is imposed for the assessment of Module 5A: Assistance with SIL. The audit must be conducted as part of the provider's mid-term audit which must commence no later than 18mths after the date of registration.”

What to ask before choosing an NDIS provider

Ask which of your supports they can deliver in your suburb, and how soon. Registration shows what a provider is permitted to deliver. It does not tell you whether they have capacity for it this month.

Ask who your regular support worker would be, what happens when that person is unavailable, and how complaints are handled. For a registered provider, complaints can also go to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

If you are considering one organisation for both your supports and your plan management, ask how they keep the two separate — it is worth understanding who checks the invoices.
