About Samay Solutions

Samay Solutions is a registered NDIS provider based in Coburg, in Melbourne's north. Coburg is the head office address the NDIS Commission's register holds for it. The legal entity is Samay Solution Pty Ltd, an Australian private company (ABN 48 691 260 483) with its main business location in VIC 3058, active since September 2025.

In their own words: “Our name, Samay, comes from Sanskrit. It means ‘the right moment.’” The business describes its approach as connection before coordination.

Alongside its NDIS work, the site at samaysolutions.com.au also lists care attendant and home help for WorkSafe and TAC clients, and community nursing for DVA clients. Those are separate funding routes and sit outside the NDIS registration described on this page.

Services Samay Solutions provides

The Commission holds sixteen registration groups for this ABN. The ten services below are the ones Samay Solutions' own website describes as supports it delivers, each matched to the registration group that covers it.

  • Community Nursing Care — nursing care at home: medication support, wound and skin care, chronic disease monitoring, and continence and catheter care
  • Assistance with Personal Activities — in-home personal care: showering and grooming, dressing, mobility and transfers, continence support
  • Household Tasks — cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and light household tasks
  • Supported Independent Living — daily support for participants in shared or supported accommodation (see registration conditions below)
  • Daily Tasks & Shared Living — household and daily-routine support in a shared living arrangement
  • Behaviour Support — Positive Behaviour Support: functional behaviour assessment, behaviour support plans, and guidance for families and support workers
  • Assistance to Access and Maintain Employment — exploring employment goals, workplace readiness, and ongoing support once in work
  • Development of Life Skills — capacity building in daily living skills such as budgeting, meal planning and organisation, plus communication and social skills
  • Assist — Life Stage, Transition — psychosocial recovery coaching for participants whose mental health affects daily life, the NDIS support delivered under this registration group
  • Participate Community — support to take part in community activities and social outings

The register also holds six further groups for this ABN that the website does not describe as services: Assist Personal Activities — High Intensity, Plan Management, Group/Centre Activities, Assist — Travel/Transport, Innovative Community Participation, and Support Coordination. If you need one of these, ask Samay Solutions directly whether they currently offer it.

Registration conditions

Six conditions are recorded on this provider's registration by the Commission. They are reproduced below as the register records them; the only change is one apostrophe, which the register's text renders as a question mark:

1. “A variation condition is imposed for the assessment of Module 5A: Assistance with SIL. The audit must be conducted as part of the provider's mid-term audit which must commence no later than 18mths after the date of registration.”

2. “A condition is imposed for assessment of the remaining elements of Module 2a to be conducted 3 months after service delivery has commenced on 2a Implementing Provider.”

3. “A condition is imposed for assessment of the remaining elements of Module 1 to be conducted 3 months after service delivery has commenced in class of support 0104.”

4. “A condition is imposed for assessment of the remaining elements of Module 2 to be conducted 3 months after service delivery has commenced in class of support 0110.”

5. “A condition is imposed for assessment of the remaining elements of Module 4 to be conducted 3 months after service delivery has commenced in class of support 0132.”

6. “A condition has been imposed, for providers of 0107 Assistance with daily personal activities, for risk assessment of participants who choose to be supported by a single worker.”

Five of the six set when parts of the provider's audit or assessment are conducted; the sixth requires a risk assessment for participants who choose to be supported by a single worker. The Commission's page for Samay Solutions holds the current version.

What to ask before choosing an NDIS provider

Ask which of your supports they can deliver in your area, and how soon. Registration shows what a provider is permitted to deliver. It does not tell you whether they have capacity for it this month.

Ask who your regular support worker, nurse or recovery coach would be, what happens when that person is unavailable, and how complaints are handled. For a registered provider, complaints can also go to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

For Supported Independent Living and behaviour support in particular, ask about staff qualifications and rostering. Those are what most affect the experience day to day.
