Unregistered providers can only work with plan-managed and self-managed participants, but many offer excellent services and greater flexibility.

Ask for references from other participants if possible, and don’t hesitate to request a trial period before committing to a service agreement. The NDIS is designed to give participants choice and control — exercising that choice starts with asking the right questions and understanding what each provider brings to the table.
